Privacy Policy

Information collected

None. The app collects, transmits, sells, shares and stores no personal information whatsoever. To be specific, it does not collect:

• Generated passwords, passphrases, PINs or keys
• Your generator settings or preferences
• Names, email addresses or contact details
• Device identifiers, advertising identifiers or IP addresses
• Location, contacts, photos, calendars or health data
• Usage analytics, telemetry, diagnostics or crash reports

The app requests no permissions from iOS at all — no notifications, no camera, no location, no Face ID, no network.

How passwords are handled

Passwords are generated on your device using the operating system's cryptographic random number generator. They exist in the app's memory and nowhere else.

Session history

Passwords you generate appear in a session list so you can retrieve one you scrolled past. This list is held in memory only. It is never written to a file, to preferences, to the keychain or to iCloud, and it is discarded when the app is backgrounded or closed.

The clipboard

When you copy a password, it is placed on the iOS pasteboard so you can paste it elsewhere. Two limits are applied:

• The item is given a sixty-second expiry, after which iOS removes it.
• The item is marked local-only, so it is not shared with your other Apple devices through Universal Clipboard.

While a password sits on the pasteboard it is, by the nature of the pasteboard, readable by other apps you open. This is true of anything you copy on iOS. The expiry exists to keep that window short.

What is stored on your device

One thing, and it is not a password: a count of how many passwords you have generated. It decides when the app asks you to leave a review, so that it asks a few times rather than repeatedly.

That number lives in the app's own storage on your device. It is never transmitted, because the app has no way to transmit anything. Deleting the app deletes it.

Network activity

The app makes no network requests, because it contains no code that could make one. There are no third-party SDKs, no advertising networks, no analytics providers, no crash reporting services, and no content delivery networks.

The only way to leave the app is by tapping a link on the About screen — the entries under More from the developer, which open the App Store, and the links to this policy and the support page. Those open in Safari or the App Store, and what happens there is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not this one.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13. There is nothing to delete, because nothing is ever gathered.

Your rights

Regulations such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete the personal data a developer holds about you. In this case those rights have no work to do: no personal data is held, so there is nothing to access, correct, export or delete.

Deleting the app removes it and everything in it from your device.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes what it does with data, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the effective date above will change. Any release that added network access or data collection would be a fundamental change of character, and would be described plainly in the release notes rather than buried here.
